DESCRIPTION:The Brownsville Police Department announces its 3rd Annual Run WITH the Police 5K/1 mile run/walk on Saturday\, September 30\, 2017 at the Brownsville Sports Park.  Register here for this fun event where you can run with officers decked out in full SWAT gear! All proceeds benefit United Way of Southern Cameron County.\n\nEvent details and schedule:\n\nThe 5K starts at 7:30 AM\n\nThe 1 mile run begins after the 5K\n\nEarly registrations ends 9/13/2017\n\nLate registration ends 30 minutes before race\n\n1 mile:  1st\, 2nd\, 3rd place trophies by age category and gender: 6 and under\, 7-8\, 9-10\, 11-12 and 13-14.  Every 1 mile participant will get a medal.\n\n5K:  1st 2nd 3rd place trophies by age category and gender 5-9\, 10-14\, 15-19\, 20-24\, 25-29\, 30-34\, 35-39\, 40-44\, 45-49\, 50-54\, 60 and over. \n\nTeam awards: 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd for schools with most students that finish race. \n\nPacket Pick-Up Thursday-Friday 9-28- and 9-29-2017 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm\n\nFree shirts for the first 800 that register.
